Facebook Bans Private Sale of Guns

Facebook on Friday appear that information technology will ban private sales of guns on the social network and Instagram.

The visitor already has restrictions on ads regarding regulated goods similar pharmaceuticals and illegal drugs, and this move "alignsmore closely with our policies effectually commerce and advertising," a spokesperson said.

The ban does not utilize to weapons sold through online, licensed retailers, who "will still exist able to post nigh their goods and services on Facebook while completing sales transactions off Facebook," according to Facebook.

Users can't sell items straight via Facebook (all the same), but they can fix upwardly a Page to advertise something, or post to their Timeline in search of a buyer. About two years ago, Facebook announced a crackdown on inappropriate posts, specially those that offered to sell firearms.
