View, clear, or break watch history (signed in)

YouTube watch history makes information technology easy to find videos you recently watched and improves your video recommendations. Yous can control your spotter history by clearing or pausing your history. Any videos that y'all watch while history is paused won't evidence in your history. They as well won't be used to improve your recommendations.

View, articulate, or suspension watch history (signed in)

Sign in and go to myactivity.google.com to find videos that you've viewed on the YouTube app or website while signed in. Information technology also includes videos you lot've watched in a YouTube player on other websites while signed in to Google Chrome.

Changes you make to your business relationship watch history will be reflected on all devices you sign in to with this account.

If you've removed any videos from your sentinel history while your device was offline, it might take a few hours for those changes to sync.

  • Remove a video: To remove a video from your watch history, click Remove  to the right of the video details.
  • Clear spotter history: To delete your entire history, click Clear all watch history.
  • Interruption watch history: To suspension your history, click Pause sentry history.

Articulate or pause watch history (signed out)

Even when y'all're signed out, YouTube improves your recommendations based on the videos you watch on that device. You can articulate or pause the history from your device.

Note: You lot cannot view your spotter history while signed out. You tin can follow the steps above to pause or clear your watch history.

Search watch history on a reckoner

To find videos that you've watched before, search your watch history.

  1. Go to your Picket history.
  2. At the peak right, go to "Search watch history".
  3. Enter what you're looking for in the box.
  4. Click Search  .

Automatically delete your search and lookout man history

Yous can choose to delete your YouTube search and watch history automatically after a certain amount of time.

  1. On your computer, get to your Google Account.
  2. On the top left-navigation, click Data & personalization.
  3. Under "Activity controls," click YouTube History, then click Manage activity.
  4. At the top correct, click More More and then Keep action for...
  5. Click the button for how long you want to go along your activity and then Next and then Confirm to salve your choice.
